Paint Protection Film is a clear, 8-mil urethane layer we lay over the painted panels that take the most abuse: bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors and rocker panels. It absorbs stone chips on the 15, salt blasting in January and the door of the car parked too close at Carrefour Laval.
We use self-healing film, so light swirls close up with warm water or a sunny afternoon. Every kit is plotter-cut for your model and the edges are wrapped by hand so there's no line to catch dirt. Choose front-end coverage or wrap the whole car.
Ceramic coating is a liquid SiO2 formula that cures into a hard, glassy shell on top of your clear coat. Water beads and rolls off, road film has nothing to grab onto, and a rinse does most of what a full wash used to.
Before a drop goes on, we decontaminate and polish the paint, because a coating locks in whatever is underneath. Packages run from 2 to 7 years. It isn't wax and it won't wash off in the first storm.
Our ceramic window film rejects up to 60% of solar heat without the purple fade of cheap dyed tint. Your air conditioning works less in summer, the dashboard stops cracking, and nobody can see the laptop bag on the back seat.
We install at the Laval shop in a dust-controlled bay. Before we cut, we'll go over what Quebec allows on the front side windows so you never get pulled over for it.
Our detailing truck carries its own water tank, generator and steam unit, so we can work in a driveway, a condo garage or an office lot. Outside, that's a foam pre-wash, two-bucket hand wash, iron and clay decontamination, then a sealant.
Inside, we vacuum, steam and extract the seats and carpets, dress the plastics without the greasy shine, and treat leather. The white salt lines on your floor mats come out too.
Automatic car washes leave a web of fine scratches that shows up as soon as the sun hits the paint. Paint correction levels the clear coat with machine polishers, cutting compounds and a lot of patience, until the reflection is sharp again.
We measure paint thickness before and during the job so nothing gets taken off that can't be spared. If a scratch is through the clear coat, we'll say so and point you to touch-up or a body shop instead.
